Dragongårdens Drive Me Crazy won her last CACIB for the International Championtitle in Tartu, Estonia November 8th. She also achived BOS and her Estonian Championtitle. Shiku achived BOB with CACIB and also his Estonian Championship. Leif Ragnar Hjort, Norway was judging 17 Leonberger. We also won the brace (couple).

Kwenobe Balfen Hullanta "Lanta" achived his seventh!!! CC and BOB at the Midland counties show October 26th judged by Mr Peter Jolley. Well done Bev & Pete Hellewell. Handler was as usual the handsome guy Bill Crawley.

Dragongårdens Calypso de Cacique "Calyph" was successful in Australia recently. At the Royal Melbourne Show September 27th he achived BOB puppy.

October 3 were 54 Leos entered under two judges; Göran Bodegård and Csaba Pettkó.

Club Show Forsheda September 14th. Dragongårdens Caracas de Cacique and Cartagena de Cacique were both placed in their puppy classes. Shiku achived second best male and Crazy third in Champion class.We also had a second placed breeder group.

Meduza was also third placed at the National show in Norrköping on Saturday.

AUGUST 2-3rd IN SVEG AND SVENSTAVIK,TWO SHOWS WERE HELD. THE SPECIALTY AND AN INTERNATIONELL SHOW. 80 dogs were entered and the Swedish judge Ulrica Göransson did the Clubshow and Geoff Kill (Australia) the Int.show. Shiku achived Best male both days and also won CACIB on Sunday. We had four females (two mothers and daughters) in the breeder class both days; Crazy/ Meduza and Lovis/ Beda. Beda ( Block the Breeze)also won the Youth class on Saturday and her mum Lovis (Overnight Sensation) the Open class with CAC on Sunday. Crazy and her daugther Meduza were placed and Crazy also achived Res-CACIB on Sunday and Meduza Res best female.Well done to all!

WORLD WINNER SHOW JULY 3RD. Guido Perosino (Italy) judged the males and Kurt Nilsson (Sweden) the females. (gallery from the World Show) Best couple (brace) was Kwenobe Balfen Shiku and Dragongårdens Drive Me Crazy. BOB Veteran and World Veteran Winner won by Grizzly, now more than 10 years old! He competed in the group at the finals and was one of six picked of all World Top winners! He shown his best part and just flow over the floor. Shiku achived Excellent and was picked as number five of 32 males in the big Open class. Crazy was placed third with Excellent, in hard competetion in the Champion class with 17 females. Grizzlys beautiful off-springs won grand slam; his grand daughter Mathoaka's Vårvind "Luna" achived BOB and World Winner, and her daugther Supershine-Me "Fiona" achived Junior World Winner. Grizzlys daugther, Luna´s mother, Mathoaka's Eihwaz Av Runa was fourth placed in the Champion class. Second placed in Champion females was another of my favorites, Kusbolejonet Interesting Dream. Another grand daugther to Grizzly, Altonstigens Elanor achived the CAC in open class.Well done to Elise, Lotta, Rolf, Catrin,Per, Lasse, Ingela, Cathrine and Niklas. Unfortunately we didn't have a breeder class this day.Thanks Cyd, Sergey, Tina and Carina for nice pictures!

AT THE CIRCUIT ASSOCIATED WITH THE WORLD SHOW JULY 2ND. ( gallery from the Specialty) Leif-Ragnar Hjort (Norway) judged the males and Manlio Massa (Italy) the females. Shiku was placed second in the open class and competed with 31 males. Grizzly won BOB Veteran. We also competed in brace with Shiku and Crazy. We won the breeder class with Dennery de Lucia, Drive Me Crazy, Mendoza and Block the Breeze. Thanks to everyone who showed and handled the dogs.

NEW GREAT BRITIAN CH. Kwenobe Balfen Hullanta "Lanta" achived his third CC and his Champion title. The same day his first litter was born in England. Well done Bev & Pete. Handler was the handsome Bill Crawley.

Congratulations to Helena and Adrian Lutz, when their "Chiefen", Dragongårdens Clint Eastwood, won zwickenklasse with CAC in St.Gallen and Uster in Schwitzerland under Willi Güllix and Gerhard Zerle at May 11th and 18th.His dad "Plexus" also achived CAC in the Champion class and won his Champion title in Switzerland. Chiefen also won the Youth class with RCAC in Denmark the first weekend in May.

Champion of Champions Multi Ch Multi Winner Toy poodle "Solnes Rain Maker" and Veteran of Veterans Multi Ch Multi Winner Grizzly vom Dreiburgenland. Judges Dan Ericsson (SWE), Diane Anderson (USA), Jean Jaques Dupas (FRA) and Sergio Pizzorno (URU).

The 26 Top-Winning Veterans and 29 Champions all breed in Sweden, were invited to the "Winner of Winners". The Veterans were judged by Sergio Pizzorno. ( 2003 achived Grizzly BIS-2 of the Champion of Champions at the same place)

We competed in heat two and two together. Finally was Grizzly in final against the Top-Winner the Saluki"Badavie Pharaz" , and won.

Two of my competers were the Whippet"Carry On Ebony" and the Farao dog"Antefa's Lotus".

Many congratulations to Philippe and Sophie Chauvaux in Belgium for their 16 months old "Largo" Dragongårdens Humphrey Bogart and his EXC2 at Gent February 24th.

February 16th Clubshow in Köping with 209 entered leos. Mia Sandgren was judging the puppies, Olli Kokkonen females and Torbjörn Skaar males. This year we didn't have any puppies entered, however we was busy with the adults. Grizzly was in splended condition in veteran class . He achieved Best veteran and second best male totally! Not to bad for an almost 10 years old male! His grand children were also very successful. "Luna" Mathoaka's Vårvind was BOB. Well done to Luna's owner Elise and breeder Lotta. Luna beated our Triss, Crazy and Meduza, which were placed 2,3 and 4th. Shiku was second placed with res-cac, competed with 18 young males. Joker and Fazer was shown in champion class, Joker achived a fourth place. Fazer won the progeny class and we also won the breeder class, with our champions from 4 combinations. Some of our youngsters were also in the line-up; 2 years old Dragongårdens Dauphin de Lucia "Texas" is upcoming, can't wait to see him again. Strong, big and beautiful. Congratulations to all of you. Julia and Joker's daugther Dragongårdens Praslin de Lucia "Kali" was Winner's Bitch & Best of Opposite at Virginia Show at January 27th. This was her first major, and hopefully not the last. She also passed the evaluation (BACL) so Kali is now rated Category 1. Well done Brenda!

Shiku's litter brother Kwenobe Balfen Hullanta "Lanta" achived BOB and CC at Manchester Dog Show January 17th. 91 Leos were entered . Lanta beated Teamaides Gästrike Gutten "Hjalle", Top Winning male in Sweden, which is on tour in UK. The owner to Lanta is also the breeder to Shiku. Well done Bev! Good luck at Crufts soon!

Big success at shows in USA & Europe

Dragongårdens Humphrey Bogart "Largo" won recently the Youth class with Excellent at the show in Genk, Belgium. Many congratulations to Philippe and Sophie Chauvaux.

Dragongårdens Praslin de Lucia "Kali" achived BOB and BIG-3 at one of the last shows, and have also safe enough points now for her UKC Championship! During the fall Kali have several wins as Best of Winners and Winners bitch. Many congratulations to Brenda & Eric Frye.

Shikus mother Alfross Grizina's Idunna "Fendi" achived her GB Championtitle, the first Leonberger in GB, which came out of a GB Champion. Fendi's owner is also breeder to Shiku and also the owner to the brother Kwenobe Balfen Hullanta "Lanta". He had lots of success and wins at most of the shows this year and recently he was BOB . Together with his sisters Kwenobe Balfen Cherika and Kwenobe Balfen Kosey. Well done to the breeder Bev & Pete Hellewell.

At Växjö International November 4th, we showed for the last time this year. (I will judge myself the rest of the year.) Joker achived BOB, and finally Group-4. Shiku won the Youth class and took his sixth CAC for the year. He was third best male of the day. Fazer was 2nd best male and also had a nice progeny class . Triss was third best bitch and Meduza reserv. We also won the breeder class, with our four Champions. We was also very happy because Shiku and Triss achived Best in Show-2 in couple.( At the World Winner show 2003 in Dortmund, achived Triss and Grizzly BIS-2 couple! ) We also had some promissing juniors and youngster in the classes today. Thanks to everyone who participate to the success during the day.

I had a great weekend in Leonberg September 29-30th. We were lucky with the weather. It was really nice to meet all friends from Europe, USA and Russia. Especially my best friends from Belgium, as I haven't seen for a long time and all their dogs from me. Dragongårdens Humphrey Bogart "Largo" received Sg in the jugend class. The numbers of entries, 375 dogs, was the record ever in Leonberg! We were 8 judges in 8 rings. I did the Open class males. It was 50 dogs in the ring, so I had a hard work to find my winner, Amadeus from Magic Castle. Finally he also achived Best male and Clubsieger at the end. I was also proud of Grizzly's descedants. His son Björntassen Ralf was second in the hugh Champion class with 24 Champions. The winner in this class was Uras Löwe von Osning. Grizzly's grandson Altonstigens Kaiser was very successful and won the Jugend class and finally achived the title Clubjugendsieger. The pretty young female Meus Amicus Filis became the female Clubjugendsieger and the title Clubsieger and Best of Breed achived by Lorena Woscany. Congratulations to everyone.

Our latest exports to the US were very successfully at September 15-16th. Dragongårdens Beyond The Blue "Venus" achived Best in Show-puppy both days. North East Great Lakes Leonberger Specialty was hold the same weekend and Dragongårdens Praslin de Lucia "Kali" achived Reserve Winners Bitch. Congratulations to Venus' owners Julie Hatlas-Pepper and Wendy Jones and to Kali's owner Brenda Frye.

AUGUST 25th CLUBSHOW IN BOTKYRKA. GRIZZLY BOB, JOKER WON THE CHAMPION CLASS WAS SECOND BEST MALE. FAZER WAS THIRD BEST MALE AND SHIKU WAS FIFTH BEST MALE, WON THE JUNIOR CLASS AND ACHIVED HIS FIFTH CAC! Triss also won the champion class and was second best female. Julia and Meduza were placed 4 and 5 in the champion class also with R-CAC. Atlas brother "Jonte" was third in the hugh open class. We also won the breeder class with 4 champions from 4 different combinations.

Norrköping & Nyköping August 18-19 Mendoza achived her third and last CAC for her Champion title and was also BOB in Nyköping. Triss and Zera achived second and third best female. The day before, was Fazer BOB in Norrköping and Triss second best female. WELL DONE TO EVERY ONE!

Västerås International 22 July. Joker achived BOB & CACIB, Shiku won his fourth CAC. Atlas won open class with r-cac,because of his teeth ? Zera was second best female and achived r-cacib, Tess won youth class with r-cac. Smulan and Indra were shown in open class, Indra achived a second place also with r-cac. Triss was third best female. We also won the breeder class.

WE HAD TOP SUCCESS AT 13-15 OF JULY IN TVAAKER AND VARBERG. Dragongårdens Beautiful Beatrice achived BOB at the Clubshow in Varberg were about 170 Leos entered on last Sunday. That was the peak of the weekend, as we had lots of success at the National and International shows in Tvååker. Over 3500 dogs participated each days. On Friday was Joker BOB and Grizzly BIS-1 Veteran. On Saturday was Grizzly BOB, BIG-3 and BIS-1 veteran again. His daughter Mathoaka's Eihwaz Av Runa achived BOS with CACIB. Shiku won his third CAC and Joker was third best male. Dragongårdens Clint Eastwood "Chiefen"achived BOB-puppy. Chiefen also won best male puppy 6-9 months in Varberg at the Specialty and his sister Dragongårdens Marilyn Monroe won the female puppies 6-9 months. Grizzly was BOS veteran and Dragongårdens Moysotis Palustris "Peps" won a third place in the biggest class of the day, open class. Joker, Fazer and Zera also achived r-cac in the Champion class.

Visby National & International June 30 - July 1st, Joker & Mendoza "Meduza" achived BOB and BOS both days. Meduza won CAC both days and also CACIB on Sunday. The results in the groups started with BIS-R veteran for Grizzly and a Group-3 placement for Joker. On Sunday achived Shiku his second "ticket" and CAC. Joker won Group-2 and Grizzly achived BEST IN SHOW VETERAN. We finished the travel to wonderful Gotland with a walk around the old city. More pictures will be published shortly.

New International Champion Dragongårdens Private Dancer achived Austrian Club Winner 2007 at the club show under Willi Güllix. "Dancer's" titles are now Hungarian Youth Champion, Hungarian Champion and Youth Ckub Winner 2005. Congratulations to the owners Monika Nyitrai and Lajos Mészáros kennel Vom Matthiasberg, Hungary.

June 17th at Avesta National show. We had lots of success at the last show when "Chiefen" achived BOB puppy again, "Fazer" BOS, "Triss" third best bitch. "Atlas" was third placed in Open, "Meduza"second in Intermediate and "Smulan" second in Open, all with R-CAC. We also won breeder class with Fazer, Atlas, Triss and Smulan. Thanks to all of you who were there, when I was judging in Vännäs.

The day before when Birgitte Gothen was judging 70 leos at the International show, it was terrible rainy weather. Tess didn't like the tent, but she had a very good result anyway. Atlas was the most successful dog from us this day. He was second best male with R-CACIB. Joker achived the fourth place. Zera was also placed fourth in the champion class females. We also won the breeder class with Joker, Atlas, Fazer and Zera.

The first day of the weekend was Jan Herngren judging 67 dogs. Joker achived a third place and Fazer was fifth. Triss was third best female and Zera fifth. Shiku won the Youth class males.

May 12th was the Swedish Winner show held in Österbybruk. 70 leos were entered under Natalja Nekrosiene (Latvia). Shiku won the Youth class with V. Atlas was V2 in Open and Fazer V5 in Champion class. Meduza , Molly and Triss achived all the third place in Intermediate, Open and Champion class with V. Finally we won the breeder class with Fazer, Triss, Atlas and Molly.

May 12th was the Swedish Winner show held in Österbybruk. 70 leos were entered under Natalja Nekrosiene (Latvia). Shiku won the Youth class with V. Atlas was V2 in Open and Fazer V5 in Champion class. Meduza , Molly and Triss achived all the third place in Intermediate, Open and Champion class with V. Finally we won the breeder class with Fazer, Triss, Atlas and Molly.

21 April 21 st in Västerås, Shiku achived his first CAC,and became second best male, just 10 months old! 53 Leonberger were entered under Jan Herngren. Joker was third in Champion class and Fazer fourth. Meduza was placed third in intermediate. Triss won Champion class and Zera was second. We also won the breeder class with four Champions; Joker, Fazer, Triss and Zera.

Stockholm International April 8th. 61 Leonberger were entered under Elisabet Janzon. Shiku won the Youth class. Convalana Majalis, "Molly" , Simply The Best, "Atlas" and Julia was together with Joker in the Breeder class. Finally Joker achived BOB with CACIB. BOS to Knockando's Donna Les Preuses.

KÖPING, February 17th, the first Club show of the year. 178 leos were entered under 3 judges; 34 puppies, 61 males and 83 females. Shiku was best male puppy 6-9 months. Marion Molier, "Tess" didn't get placed but received good critique. Mendoza, "Meduza" , Convalana Majalis, "Molly" , Triss and Julia were not placed either but also received good descriptions. Grizzly achived BOB veteran and finally second best male. Simply The Best, "Atlas" won R-CAC and a second place in the hugh Open class. Joker and Fazer did also achived R-CAC in the Champion class. Finally we also won the breeder class with four Champions; Fazer, Julia, Triss och Joker.

JANUARY 4-5 TH, NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL IN GOTHENBURG . 80 resp. 70 leos were entered to the first shows of the year. Our new star Shiku achived BOB-puppy both days. Vincent O'Brien from Ireland, was judging on Thursday. Joker won the Champion class on Friday, and was third best male both days. Julia was second in the Champion class both days, but reserv best female on Friday. BOB on Thursday was Grizzly's grand daugther Mathoaka's Vårvind and BOS Lejonklippans Humpty Dumpty. On Friday Lejonvinden's Jasmine Of Teddybear was BOB and Skjaergaardens Chief Of Potowatomi BOS under judge Helge Lie, Norway.

HUND-06 STOCKHOLM INT.DEC. 9th 86 leos were entered to the last show of the year. We have entered just two dogs this year. Grizzly achived 2nd best male and BOB veteran. Not to bad, he is almost 9 years old "the old man". He was also picked in the finals, were over 70 veterans all breed participated. Julia's sister Dragongårdens Ödets Ironi achived second best veteran female. Well done also to Grizzly's daughter Mathoakas's Eihwaz Av Runa and grand daughter Mathoaka's Vårvind for excellent placements. Vårvind also achived her last CAC and became Swedish Champion.

JACK POT AT THE SPECIALTY

At October 21st. 181 dogs were entered to the last Club show this year. The show was held in Enköping and the new judge Jan Herngren was judging the females and our Chairman Liz-Beth C. Liljekvist was judging the puppies and the males. Joker achived BOB , Grizzly BOB-veteran and our new little star Shiku BOS-puppy. We also won the breeder class. Many of our other dogs were also successfulled; Crazy and her daugther Meduza was second placed in each class, Fazer was third in Champion class and Triss's puppies were all placed. Very promissing youngster Texas did it well too. Well done all friends who participate to all success!

Oktober 8th achived Joker BOB and CACIB at Sundsvall International! The beautiful female Kusbolejonet's Interesting Suprice achived BOS, CACIB and her last CAC for her Champion title. Well done Liza Darmell. Julia became third best female.

The Club show in Leonberg at September 23-24th was a very successful weekend for our dogs! There were 322 leonbergers entered, judged under 8 judges. All our three dogs won their classes! Best was our"outsider" Julia, which was beated at the end, by a tjeckian veteran female, Audrey Zarikce udoli, she also archived BOB. Finally Grizzly beated beautiful Barney von der Johann-Adams-Mühle in the veteran class, and Joker won also, like Julia the Zuch class. Best male won the powerful young male Xorion vom Löwengarten.

August 6th at Svenstavik National Dragongårdens Julia, achived her third and last CAC for her Swedish Championtitle! Grizzly won Best In Show-2 veteran. Joker was second best male and Zera was fourth in the champion class.

At Högbo International July 14-16th our dogs have lots of success. Dragongårdens Take A Chance On Me, "Fazer"was BOS the first day. The second day Grizzly was Best veteran and third best male. Joker was fourth. Julia was reserv best female. Zera was third in champion class. Meduza won the youth class with res-CAC. She, Fazer, Julia and Zera were in our winning breeder class.

Well done Marie and Dragongårdens Take A Chance On Me , at June 17th he achived BOS and CACIB at Avesta International and at June 3rd he was BOB at Österbybruk National show.

KÖPING FEBRUARY 18th SLBK SPECIALTY GRIZZLY ACHIVED BEST IN SHOW-VETERAN ! JOKER ACHIVED 2 BEST CHAMPION AND TRISS' SON ATLAS TOOK A GOOD SECOND PLACE IN INTERMEDIATE CLASS WITH R-CAC IN COMPETITION WITH 18 MALES! IT WAS TOTALY 63 MALES ENTERED AND WOLFGANG MAYER FROM GERMANY JUDGED.

TRISS ACHIVED SECOND BEST BITCH IN COMPETITION WITH 107 BITCHES UNDER FRANCESCA MAVILLA, ITALY! WE ALSO HAD A BREEDER CLASS .

JANUARY 5-8 GOTHENBURG INTER. TRISS started the new year with success again. BOB the first day and BOS & CACIB the second day. GRIZZLY achived BOS and BIS-2 veteran the first day and Best veteran the second.

2005

Framgångarna har avlöst varandra under året,med flera nya championat i fem länder. Triss blev tvåa på Guldlejonlistan, endast slagen med EN (1!!!) poäng till ettan.Hennes son "Jonte" vann Lydnadslejonet, ett fantastiskt resultat för en unghane. Super grattis till ägare och förare Pernilla Sjöstrand. Grizzly blev bästa veteran på Guldlejonlistan. 10 av våra andra uppfödda hundar har också placerat sig på listorna i år. 2003

If 2002 was a successful year, was 2003 a fantastic year! Grizzly have now got to the top of his career with several BIS-placements and an English Championtitle witha victory at Crufts. Triss had also a great year with a BIS-placement. Both of them finished the year to be the most winning Leonberger in Sweden and the "Lions of the Year".Congratulations also to Pernilla Sjöstrand who made Dragongårdens Jumping Jack to the top Obidience Leonberger for the second year.
